Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Croswell-Lexington). They claimed a resounding 48-7 victory over the North Branch Broncos. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pioneers considering their ten-point performance the contest before.

Braylon Davis was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 172 yards and three scores on only seven carries.

Croswell-Lexington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for North Branch, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Croswell-Lexington will challenge Almont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for North Branch, they will take on Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so the Broncos' offense will have their work cut out for them.
