Volleyball Recap: Lake Country Lutheran Snags 11th Win in Last 13 Games

Lake Country Lutheran won the last time they faced Belleville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lightning came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Adeleine Catlin paced Lake Country Lutheran's offense, picking up eight kills. Catlin got some help from Grace Luedke and her 17 assists. Luedke was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Lake Country Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Belleville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Lake Country Lutheran will head out to take on Brookfield Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belleville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Waterloo at 6:45 p.m.
