Basketball Recap: Frederick Golden Eagles vs. Lutheran Lions
Frederick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lutheran Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Eagles have lost by exactly six points.

Despite the defeat, Frederick had strong showings from Olly Justice, who went 6 of 14 en route to 21 points along with five assists and five steals, and Dante Lechuga, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 19 points. Those five assists gave Justice a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Gebs, who posted six points.
Even though they lost, Frederick smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lutheran only pulled down four offensive boards.
