Softball Recap: R-S Central Takes a Loss

R-S Central entered their game against East Rutherford on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. R-S Central fell 5-2 to East Rutherford. That's two games in a row now that the Hilltoppers have lost by exactly three runs.

Alexis Nanney made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two).

This is the second loss in a row for R-S Central and nudges their season record down to 7-3. As for East Rutherford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
