Basketball Recap: Nanuet Comes Up Short

Nanuet lost against Tappan Zee back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Nanuet Golden Knights were dealt a 75-34 loss at the hands of the Tappan Zee Dutchmen. The contest marked the Golden Knights' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Nanuet's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Tappan Zee, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Nanuet and Tappan Zee should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Nanuet will square off against Pleasantville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday up 532 places (181 vs. 713). Similarly, Tappan Zee (ranked 40th) will meet Pelham Memorial (ranked 571st) at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
