Soccer Recap: Magnolia West Takes a Loss

Magnolia West managed to keep up with Tomball until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Magnolia West Mustangs lost 4-0 to the Tomball Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Cougars are ranked 55th).

Magnolia West has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. The victory was the third in a row for Tomball, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Coincidentally, Magnolia West and Tomball will both be playing Klein the next time they take the pitch. Tomball will host Klein at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Magnolia West will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 28th.
