Softball Recap: Hickory Takes a Loss

Hickory lost against Sharon back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets fell 6-3 to the Tigers.

Addy Stoner was cooking despite her team's loss, earning two runs and three stolen bases.

Hickory's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Sharon, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hickory will face off against rival Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sharon is set to challenge their familiar foe Slippery Rock at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
