Recap: El Capitan/Centennial Academy vs. Seligman Antelopes
El Capitan/Centennial Academy stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Seligman 64-24 on the road. With that win, El Capitan/Centennial Academy brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.
Among those leading the charge was Rachel Musser, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Debbie Timpson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and five steals.
El Capitan/Centennial Academy pushed their record up to 13-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Seligman, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Capitan/Centennial Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Grand Canyon at 12:30 p.m. on January 13th. As for Seligman, they will be playing at home against Ash Fork at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ash Fork focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 35 on Friday.
