Basketball Recap: Fountain-Fort Carson Beats Sand Creek for Their Third Straight Victory

Fountain-Fort Carson strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 64-58 W against the Sand Creek Scorpions. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 76-54 win the Scorpions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fountain-Fort Carson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Ulmer, who went 6-for-13 en route to 18 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Torian Carr, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Fountain-Fort Carson's record is now 3-0. As for Sand Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Fountain-Fort Carson will be playing at home against Pueblo County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sand Creek, they are taking a road trip to challenge Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
