The Flanagan Falcons will head out to face off against the American Heritage Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Flanagan will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Flanagan barely beat Nova the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Titans on Wednesday.

Hayden Welsh spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on nine hits and racked up six Ks. Those six strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joel Herrera, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Diego Rosado was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, American Heritage waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They skirted past the Lions 3-1.
Caden Garro looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, American Heritage got a big performance out of Jordan Rich, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Garavito, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.
American Heritage lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mater Academy Charter didn't launched any home runs.
American Heritage pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Flanagan, their record now sits at 10-14.
Flanagan skirted past American Heritage 10-9 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
