Baseball Recap: Nyack Comes Up Short

Nyack lost against Clarkstown North back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Red Hawks lost 15-5 to the Rams. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nyack saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Salemo, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Billy Fontanilla, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Nyack's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Clarkstown North, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Nyack didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-2 defeat against North Rockland on the 16th. As for Clarkstown North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against Greeley on the 15th.
