Softball Recap: Sipsey Valley Bears vs. Oak Grove Tigers
Sipsey Valley fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Oak Grove on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Oak Grove Tigers by a score of 7-6. Sipsey Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Oak Grove apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March.
Sarah Aaron made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Jules Lindsey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
