Baseball Recap: Methacton's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

After flying high against Upper Perkiomen last Monday, Methacton came back down to earth. The Warriors fell 4-0 to the Boyertown Bears on Monday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

The defeat snapped Methacton's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-3 record. As for Boyertown, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Methacton will head out to take on Upper Merion Area at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boyertown, they will venture away from home to square off against Norristown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
