Basketball Game Preview: Mooreland Bearcats vs. Laverne Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mooreland Bearcats face off against the Laverne Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday... Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mooreland will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Seiling, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Mooreland secured a 39-33 W over Seiling on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bearcats.

Meanwhile, Laverne entered their tilt with Shattuck on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 68-59.

Laverne now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mooreland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Mooreland strolled past Laverne when the teams last played back in January of 2020 by a score of 63-45. Will Mooreland repeat their success, or does Laverne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
