Soccer Game Preview: Perry vs. Desert Mountain

The Perry Pumas will take on the Desert Mountain Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Perry is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Last Friday, everything went Perry's way against Chandler as Perry made off with a 6-1 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-0.

Perry hit Chandler with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jaymis Brown (2), Brody Donovan (2), Nicholas Saveski, and Jacoby Franklin.

Meanwhile, Desert Mountain faced Arizona College Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Desert Mountain walked away with a 3-1 victory over Arizona College Prep. The win was familiar territory for Wolves who have now won four games in a row.

Perry now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Desert Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5-2.
