Soccer Recap: Raleigh Charter Comes Up Short

Raleigh Charter lost against North Raleigh Christian Academy back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Raleigh Charter Phoenix lost 6-1 to the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Phoenix were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Ariana Cano, which was the first she's scored this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Raleigh Charter fell to 2-1. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Looking ahead, Raleigh Charter will welcome Research Triangle Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Raleigh Charter's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they have already played their next match, a 6-0 win against Ravenscroft on the 17th.
