Eno River extends road losing streak to three

The Eno River Bobcats suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They suffered a tough 70-45 loss at the hands of Vance Charter. Eno River has struggled against Vance Charter recently, as their matchup on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Eno River lost, one person who can't be blamed is Corey Amyot. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Amyot has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Manning, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Eno River's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-10. As for Vance Charter, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Eno River will be playing at home against Research Triangle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Research Triangle is ranked 624th, while Eno River is ranked 627th). As for Vance Charter, they will head out on the road to take on Wake Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
