Soccer Recap: Fountain-Fort Carson Takes a Loss

Fountain-Fort Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pueblo West Cyclones, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fountain-Fort Carson of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2018.

Fountain-Fort Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Pueblo West, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season.

Fountain-Fort Carson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Doherty on the 29th. As for Pueblo West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Pine Creek on the 29th.
