Football Game Preview: Hull-Daisetta Bobcats vs. West Sabine Tigers

Hull-Daisetta is 0-5 against West Sabine since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Bobcats will square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Hull-Daisetta has given up an average of 36.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hull-Daisetta is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 44 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Deweyville on Friday. They took a blow against the Pirates, falling 40-0.

Meanwhile, while West Sabine put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Colmesneil. The Tigers blew past the Bulldogs 51-0. The contest marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for West Sabine and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games. As for Hull-Daisetta, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Hull-Daisetta was taken down by West Sabine 45-8 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
