Softball Recap: Lee Academy Comes Up Short

Lee Academy's last matchup with Carolina Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Cavaliers lost 6-0 to the Bobcats. The Cavaliers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Lee Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ansley Nesbit, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Lee Academy's record now sits at 1-9. As for Carolina Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee Academy will welcome Northside Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Carolina Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Lee Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
