Basketball Game Preview: Roseburg Indians vs. South Medford Panthers

Roseburg is 0-10 against South Medford since February of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Roseburg Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the South Medford Panthers at 6:45 p.m.

Roseburg will head into Thursday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They came up short against Sheldon, falling 71-46.

Meanwhile, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, South Medford made off with a 48-47 victory over South Eugene. The win was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Axe are ranked 40th).

South Medford's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Roseburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
