Hockinson scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 106-80 to the Columbia River Rapids. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Rapids are ranked 53rd).

Hockinson is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Columbia River, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hockinson will head out to face off against Washougal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbia River, they are taking a road trip to challenge Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
