Soccer Recap: Klein Forest Takes a Loss

Klein Forest lost against Tomball Memorial back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Klein Forest Eagles came up short against the Tomball Memorial Wildcats, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 384th in Texas, while the Wildcats are ranked 55th in Texas).

Klein Forest's goal came courtesy of Anthony Zavala, who's now up to six this season.

Klein Forest has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. Tomball Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Klein Forest will square off against Magnolia at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tomball Memorial, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tomball Memorial duke it out with the Klein Collins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
