Basketball Recap: Bronte Takes a Loss

Bronte lost against Irion County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bronte Longhorns were beaten by the Irion County Hornets 56-21. The Longhorns were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.

Bronte has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Irion County, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Veribest the next time they take the court. Bronte will head out to face Veribest at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, while Irion County will host them at 6:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
