Mildred owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They put the hurt on the Cross Roads Bobcats with a sharp 7-0 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Mildred pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cross Roads, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Mildred will take on Frankston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
