Baseball Game Preview: Holbrook Bulldogs vs. Westport Wildcats

Holbrook hasn't had much luck against Westport recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bulldogs will host the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m.

Holbrook managed to slip by Atlantis the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against Atlantis on Friday, falling 9-2.

Meanwhile, Westport entered their tilt with Wareham on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Vikings 14-1. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Westport pushed their record up to 9-3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Holbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
