Baseball Game Preview: Modesto Christian Crusaders vs. Gustine Reds

For the second straight game, Modesto Christian will face off against Gustine. The Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Reds at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Modesto Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Modesto Christian came up short against Gustine and fell 8-5.

Titus Degracia was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
