Softball Recap: Timberline Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Timberline couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Hermiston Bulldogs by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Blazers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Kayleese Dorfner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Porsha Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Timberline's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Hermiston, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-14.

As of now, neither Timberline nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
