Baseball Recap: Paxon School For Advanced Studies Victorious

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Paxon School For Advanced Studies ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Parker Braves 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Dominic Craig looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Michael Belcher was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.

The victory got Paxon School For Advanced Studies back to even at 1-1. As for Parker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paxon School For Advanced Studies will host ED White at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parker, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Parsons Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m.
