Connecticut High School Football Rankings

Who's up and who's down

There wasn't a lot of overall movement in the power rankings this week, but with 13 teams changing position, that doesn't mean the week lacked for thrills. Among the action were the efforts of Sheehan's junior Terrence Bogan, an offensive menace who scored eight total TDs.

Can't Touch This

Sheehan's 64 - 27 win over Branford last week had a lot to do with the leadership of junior Terrence Bogan. Bogan ran for 406 yards and also punched in eight touchdowns. In fact, our algorithms singled out Bogan as one of the top players in the power rankings for the week.

Next Week's Big Game

If you are itching to watch a first-rate contest, no game is supposed to fit the bill better than the one between Brunswick School (15th in the power rankings) and Choate Rosemary Hall School (8th). Both teams are entering with last-week wins under their belts. Of course, Brunswick School and Choate Rosemary Hall School can't both win again this week, so we'll learn on Saturday which team falters and which extends its success.
