Wyomissing extended the longest winning streak in Berks Inter-County 2 this week by beating Hamburg, 42-6. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Spartans.

Wyomissing led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Hawks.

Blue Mountain's Shane Grapsy and Tristan Dickey have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Grapsy has thrown for 819 yards this season, while Dickey, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 14 catches for 338 yards. Jack Huntsman from Berks Catholic leads the league in rushing with 696 yards.

A big matchup in Berks Inter-County 2 this week will be when Bob Wolfrum's team takes on Schuylkill Valley. The Spartans are currently in first, while the Panthers are in third.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Wyomissing takes on Schuylkill Valley. The Spartans have allowed 66 points this season, while Jeff Chillot's team has given up 89. Wyomissing allowed 6 points last week as it bested Hamburg.

Joe Sinkovich's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,303 from 10,452. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 42-6 victory over the Hawks last week.
