Baseball Recap: Shamrock Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Shamrock had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Hale Center Owls on Friday.

Shamrock's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hale Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shamrock will host Boys Ranch at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Shamrock is facing Boys Ranch at the right time seeing as Boys Ranch is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Hale Center will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Springlake-Earth at 5:00 p.m. on March 10th.
