If Island Coast wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Estero, they should've done a better job of containing Amiya Lewis. Everything went the Estero Wildcats' way against the Island Coast Gators on Tuesday as the Estero Wildcats made off with a 60-36 victory thanks in part to Lewis, who went 7 for 13 en route to 21 points and seven boards. Her evening made it 15 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Jennifer Cerritos, who posted eight points. What's more, she also posted a 75% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Island Coast saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jamieryah Davis put up 15 points. Faith Hershman was another key player, putting up eight points.

Estero's record is now 14-5. As for Island Coast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Estero has already played their next game, a 64-54 win against LaBelle on the 30th. As for Island Coast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-27 victory against Cypress Lake on the 30th.
