It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Chiefland had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Hawthorne Hornets 12-0. The Indians' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Aubrey Weatherford was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evie Meeks, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Chiefland moved to 7-16 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Hawthorne, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Chiefland has already played their next matchup, a 16-1 defeat against Trenton on the 30th. Hawthorne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
