Baseball Recap: Ramona Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Ramona and La Sierra, and La Sierra kept the tradition alive. The Rams fell 12-9 to the Eagles on Friday. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 10-5.

Ramona's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for La Sierra, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season.

Ramona didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Norte Vista on the 15th. As for La Sierra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-5 victory against Jurupa Valley on the 15th.
