Eastwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fostoria Redmen. The Eagles were probably out for revenge after losing 43-37 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

It was another big night for Lyrique Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds for Fostoria. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Holman, who posted six points and six assists.

Eastwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fostoria, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Eastwood will take on Maumee at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Maumee will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Eastwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fostoria, they will challenge Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fostoria is facing Northwood at the right time seeing as Northwood is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
