Alexander entered their tilt with Marshall on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Rams by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Alexander's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Marshall, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
