Baseball Preview: Tocoi Creek Toros vs. Providence School Stallions

At the plate, Tocoi Creek got a big performance out of Tommy Glasspoole, who scored three runs while going 2-for-5. Those three runs gave Glasspoole a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikey Bergamo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence School). They came out on top against Benedictine by a score of 12-7 on Tuesday.
Gavin Duva tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Jake Cotner was incredible, going 3-for-6 with three doubles and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Grant Sheppard, who went 4-for-6 with three RBI.
Providence School's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Tocoi Creek, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.
