Basketball Recap: Grandview Comes Up Short

Grandview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 61-52 to the Winnetonka Griffins. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Griffins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Grandview's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Winnetonka, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Grandview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-40 victory against Kearney on the 31st. Winnetonka has also already played their next matchup (against Raytown South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
