While Lockport's win against Kenmore West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 3-2 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Lockport's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Kenmore West are ranked 340th).

The victory made it two in a row for Lockport and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two matches. As for Kenmore West, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Lockport and Kenmore West will both be playing Niagara Falls the next time they take the pitch. The Lions will host the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Blue Devils will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
