Volleyball Recap: Wood Wildcats vs. Vanden Vikings

Wood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Vanden Vikings, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-18.

Tavas Spencer was the offensive standout of the match as he had 17 assists and six aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last eight contests.

Wood's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Vanden, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
