Baseball Recap: Louisville Lions vs. Tekamah-Herman Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Raymond Central, Louisville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Tekamah-Herman Tigers 3-2. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
Louisville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Gissler, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Louisville's record is now 4-11. As for Tekamah-Herman, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Louisville will take on rival Guardian Angels Central Catholic/West Point Beemer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tekamah-Herman is set to face off against their familiar foe Benson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
