Soccer Game Preview: Floresville vs. Medina Valley

Floresville is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Medina Valley is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Floresville Tigers/Jaguars will host the Medina Valley Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Floresville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Everything went their way against Del Rio as Medina Valley made off with a 6-2 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by three goals or more this season.

Floresville is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 44 goals over those 11 games. Medina Valley's win bumped their record up to 17-1-2.

Floresville suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Medina Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Floresville was down 4-1.
