Basketball Recap: Iowa Falls-Alden Comes Up Short

Iowa Falls-Alden was the 56-40 winner over Webster City when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Webster City Lynx. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Iowa Falls-Alden now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Webster City, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-13 record.

Iowa Falls-Alden will be playing in front of their home fans against North Butler at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Webster City, they will square off against Algona at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Algona's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Webster City has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
