Basketball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss

Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 45-29 to the Shepherd Bluejays. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st, while the Bluejays are ranked 199th).

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Shepherd, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Harrison has already played their next game (against Farwell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shepherd, they will take on Meridian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
