Basketball Recap: Comer Takes a Loss

Comer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 80-5 loss at the hands of the Midfield Patriots. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Midfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lauren Stokes, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave Stokes a new career-high in rebounds. Kamiya Webb was another key player, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards.

Comer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Midfield, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 23-3.

Comer has already played their next contest (against Childersburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Midfield has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Wenonah.
