If Paradise Honors was riding high fresh off their 75-55 takedown of Cibola last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Paradise Honors Panthers fell to the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles 62-57. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

ALA - Gilbert North's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyle Speed, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. Speed has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last five times he's played. Aidan Grant was another key player, going 5 of 11 on his way to 14 points.

Paradise Honors' defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for ALA - Gilbert North, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

After both having extra time off, Paradise Honors and Shadow Mountain will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
