Basketball Recap: Brethren Takes a Loss

Brethren lost against Mason County Central back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Brethren Bobcats lost 53-28 to the Mason County Central Spartans. The contest marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brethren's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Mason County Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brethren will venture away from home to face off against Buckley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mason County Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hesperia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
