Volleyball Recap: Southeast of Saline Falls Short of Trinity Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southeast of Saline can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Trinity Academy Knights on Monday. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Trinity Academy can attribute much of their success to Ava Deutsch, who had 15 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Deutsch has posted over her last eight matchups.

Southeast of Saline's loss dropped their record down to 10-25. As for Trinity Academy, they pushed their record up to 24-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Southeast of Saline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Garden Plain on the 20th. As for Trinity Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Smoky Valley on the 20th.
