It was a good run, but Cambridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 72-71 to the Aquinas Blugolds. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (69), the Bluejays still had to take the loss.

Cambridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Aquinas, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Cambridge and Aquinas should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Cambridge (ranked 20th) will meet Deerfield (ranked 280th) at 3:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Similarly, Aquinas will challenge Sparta at 7:15 p.m. on January 21, 2025 up 157 places (26 vs. 183).
